Biography
Gökte Tunç (b. 1972, Istanbul) began her art education in Paris and continued under Yusuf Taktak in Istanbul in 1995. Known for transforming industrial waste and mirror surfaces into contemporary works, she has exhibited widely in Turkey and abroad. In 2013 she received the Mixed Media Second Prize at the IX Florence Biennale; in 2016 she showed at SCOPE Basel. She lives and works in Istanbul.
