Rina Balkan

Rina Balkan is a sculptor working with minimalist, post-minimalist, and organic forms that address human nature, emotion, and the life cycle. Her first solo exhibition, “Core (Öz),” was presented at Çağla Cabaoğlu Gallery (May 25–June 25, 2022); a 180 cm mixed-media work from the show was simultaneously displayed at Turkish Bank Harbiye VK1. Grounded in clay and mixed materials, Balkan distills lived concepts into plain, concentrated forms.
